A report on the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Earth Sciences Department for 2024 was heard at the regular meeting of the Presidium of ANAS. The Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Earth Sciences Department of ANAS, Academician Fakhraddin Gadirov said that the scientific research carried out in the institutions of the department last year was mainly aimed at implementing the relevant decisions of the General Meeting of ANAS and the Presidium and was focused on the following projects:"Year of Solidarity for a Green World", "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities of Socio-Economic Development", "Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026", "Ist State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan", "State Program on the Restoration and Sustainable Development of the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2026", "Employment Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2030", "State Program for the Development of Agriculture", "State Program for Geological Study of the Earth's Interior and Efficient Use of the Mineral Resource Base for 2020-2024.
