Women's Council of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev ANAS was founded on May 4, 2018

Composition of WCIG of ANAS:

The Council consists of 17 members of the bureau: 5 of them are members of the management

The total number of employees of the institute is 216: 98 men, 118 women.

Among women, there is 1 senior officer, Ph.D in geography.

Total: 75 researchers; of which 2 are Doctors of Science, 20 are Doctors of Philosophy, 53 are researchers, 17 are specialists, and 26 are technical employees.

Classification of women by age:

35 people - up to 35 years; 46 people - from 36 to 55 years; 37 people - over 55 years old

Responsibilities of Women's Council:

The main task of the Women's Council is to increase the role of women in scientific, socio-political and cultural life, protect their interests and dignity in society, ensure their active participation in public affairs and protect women's rights.
