The Tourism and Recreation Laboratory conducts research on the scientifically grounded study, assessment, and sustainable use of tourism and recreational resources.

• planning and development of recreational systems;
• promotion of ecotourism and health tourism;
• analysis of the socio-economic and environmental impacts of tourism;
• assessment of the role of tourism in the sustainable development of regions.
