Main Areas of Activity:

The Human Resources and Legal Sector of the Institute organizes its work based on the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, relevant laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Institute’s charter, as well as normative legal acts adopted by the relevant executive authorities, and the decisions and orders of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.

The sector ensures the selection and placement of personnel, taking into account their qualifications, professional skills, and level of competence.

It maintains and manages a comprehensive database of employees. It prepares and processes personnel orders, including hiring, dismissal, and signing employment contracts, as well as other related documentation.

The sector keeps track of attendance, prepares and enforces vacation schedules, manages personal files of employees, and also enters and updates employee information in the “Labor and Employment” subsystem of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan (EMAS — Electronic Information System of Employment Contracts).

It provides employees of the Institute with certificates, references, and other official documents.
