The Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev hosted the final selection of members of the Azerbaijani team, which will take part in the 19th International Geographic Olympiad (iGeo).

Preparation for the Olympiad took place within the framework of the project "Preparing students for the International Geographical Olympiad (iGeo)" with the support of the Institute of Geography and the Azerbaijan Geographical Society (AGO).

Yashar Seidaliyev, project manager and team leader of iGeo Azerbaijan noted that this year the 19th International Olympiad will be held in Bandung, Indonesia.

General Director Z. Eminov congratulated the newly elected members of the iGeo 2023 Azerbaijan team, gave them his recommendations and wished them success.
