At the next Scientific workshop of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of ANAS the doctoral student Eldar Muradli from department of paleogeography, made a presentation on the theme “Determination of quantitative and qualitative indicators of climate based on palynological and mineralogical information”.
In the course of research, E.Muradli revealed the dinamics of changes in climate parameters, including quantitative and qualitative indicators (January and July average annual temperatures, maverages annual rainfall). Based on lithological and paleobotanical data in Azerbaijan, the general regularities of the natural environment and climatic changes have been revealed.
When determining the paleoclimate using various methods, it was found that the regularities are more pronounced in July.
