The software (FORTRAN Code) for Determination of “The daily optimal direction of the solar panel in the highlands” has been created by  Gardashov Rauf .

  New method for determination of optimal daily panel direction, based on simple mathematical model of solar radiation, which determines the amount of solar energy for any instant of time and any point with taking into account of shadowing of Sun caused by surrounding relief, is presented. The optimal direction of solar panel is determined analytically, as a solution of the derived system of equations.  

The method can be especially useful for the smart determination of optimal direction and installation of panels in mountain regions which have high touristic potential and require clean energy usage.
