The author of the idea and consultant of the work is the president of ANAS, academician Akif Alizade, academicians R.M. Mammadov and N. G. Jafarov.
The book is printed for the first time in large volume not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the countries of the Turkic world.
It is planned to publish this fundamental work in 3 volumes. The first volume consists of 386 pages and is devoted to the peculiarities of the physical geography of the territory of more than 11 million km.
It studies and summarizes the role of the Turkic peoples in world civilization, provides information about the geographical position of the Turkic countries, relief, geological structure, flora, landscape, environmental issues.
The book contains great scientific information, maps, charts, graphs, photos, which makes it interesting to read. It is intended for a wide readership, specialists, students bachelors, doctoral students and travel agencies.
