Under the leadership of Junior Researcher of the Department of Political and Economic Geography of Azerbaijan, Nofel Ertunov, with financial support from the Youth Foundation, on 12 January, trainings were held for schoolchildren and interested persons in the framework of the “My Method” project.

He spoke on such issues as the use of remote sensing in geography and environmental studies, decoding, used costs, time, analysis of satellite images, the use of information systems, software applications and others.

At the first workshop, the professional coach Samir Velizade told about the trainings that he conducted in software gave information about websites from which satellite images were obtained and their processing.

After classes of 12, 13 and 19 January, follow-up classes are scheduled for January 26-27.

Training takes place in the conference hall of the Caspian Plaza Hotel.
