A new publication of the Institute of Geography “Influence of the natural-destructive events on the resettlement in the Kura-Araz lowland” has been written by PhD in geography Sima Aliyeva, was published under the editorship of Doctor of Science, Professor Neron Babakhanov.

It reports on the areas and intensity of natural-destructive phenomena in the Kura-Araz lowland in order to ensure activities of economic areas and sustainable development of residential units. Also information is given on the causes of their occurrence, frequency and destructive force, preventive and protective measures.

The work is intended for university students studying in the specialty of economic geography, as well as teachers and a wide range of readers.
