A documentary film "A Handful of Peace" was shown at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources with the participation of PhD Mirnukh Ismailov, head of the department of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, environmental specialists, scientists, experts, and representatives of civil society.
The documentary film shows the territories where Armenia committed ecocide against Azerbaijan during the occupation, the cruel and inhumane treatment of nature by the occupiers, and also reveals the results of the latest research and developments carried out in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. It should be noted that the filming of the documentary film, prepared by the Azerbaijan Journalists Network Public Association, was supported by the State Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations. The first presentation of the film in English took place on November 20, 2024, at the National NGO Pavilion in the Green Zone within the framework of COP29.
