Today, the staff of the Institute of Geography named after academician Р. Aliyev of the MSEAR honored the grave of the prominent geographer, academician Ramiz Mamedov in the Alley of Honor.

The academician's colleagues, employees of the institute he once headed, shared their memories of him having expressed sincere condolences to his family members.

The scientist's daughter, leading researcher at the Institute of Geography, candidate of geographical sciences Natavan Jafarova, on behalf of her family expressed gratitude to her colleagues for always remembering her father and carefully preserving his memory.
