According to the memorandum of scientific cooperation signed between the Aliyev Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Department of Geography of the Justus Liebig University of Germany, the exchange of experience of junior research fellow of the Department of Demography and Population Geography Beymkhanim Huseynova in the Federal Republic of Germany has been completed.

As part of the exchange program, B. Huseynova, who completed an internship at the university for 3 months, took part in lectures of the Giessen Geographical Society, as well as the departments of "Climate Change and Development of the Global South", "Resource Economy and Sustainable Management", "Climate, Consequences of Climate Change". B. Huseynova attended seminars, listened to lectures, and conducted research.

The junior researcher took a tour of many regions of Germany (Grube Fortuna, Lahn-Mamor-Museum, Autumn labyrinth, Colonge-Bonn Region, etc.) and collected the necessary information for research work.

Upon completion of the exchange program, the head of the Department of Geography, Professor Andreas Dittmann, presented B. Huseinova with a diploma. At the same time, the research fellow of the IG was awarded a certificate for participation and presentation at the conference "Geography of Geopark Management".
