In the newspaper «Elm» dated January 12, the General Director of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev, Professor Zakir Eminov, together with Associate Professor Rashid Fataliyev, published the article “A scientist who devoted his life to the science of paleogeography.”

The article is dedicated to the memory of the head of the paleogeography department of the Institute of Geography in 2003-2013, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences Bayram Javad oglu Aleskerov. The article, reflecting the scientific activity of the scientist who spent 48 years of his life at the Institute of Geography, talks about the contribution of Bayram Aleskerov to paleogeographical science.
