June 13-14 under the auspices of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev and Mersin University of Turkey will host an international conference "6th Intercontinental Geoinformation Days (IGD)", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Presentations will be heard in English on the following topics: geographic information systems and cartography, 2D-3D-4D GIS, spatial data generation, mobile mapping, spatial applications for smart cities and smart agriculture, building information modeling, photogrammetry and remote sensing, INSPIRE, LPIS, TUCBS, etc., discussions and exchanges will take place.

The conference will take place at 9:30 am in the conference hall of the Institute of Geography, located in the main building of ANAS (8th floor, room 834).
