One of the founders of the geographical science in Azerbaijan, a famous public figure, great pedagogue, researcher, academician Budag Abdulali oghlu Budagov passed away a year ago.

 The collaborators of the Institute of Geography visited the Honorary Avenue and remembered his memory, laid a wreath on his grave. The director of the Institute, cor. Member of ANAS, prof. Ramiz Mammadov talked about B.Budagov’s life and activities and shared own memories about him.
