Head of the Department "Geomorphology of the Caspian Sea Coast and Bottom", Doctor of Geography, Professor Amir Aliyev gave an interview to the newspaper "Baku working" on the occasion of the International Maritime Day.

In an article published under the title "The Sea of Five Shores", the geographer described the features of the Caspian Sea, gave extensive information about the reasons for the sharp change in its level and the factors affecting it, the impact of level changes on the living conditions of the population living in coastal areas, its damage to economy of Azerbaijan, its forecasting.
