The report notes that the results of measurements of harmful substances entering the atmosphere and soil from vehicles in the Sumgait region, especially on the Baku-Siyazan highway, as well as from stationary and non-stationary sources in Sumgait, and the impact of vehicles.
Noises on human health have been studied. It turned out that the range of noise generated by vehicles on city roads of grades 3 and 4 in Sumgayit was about 10 meters below the level allowed by the Ministry of Health - 56 dB. According to the amount of emissions and analysis of emissions from internal combustion engines of cars passing on the Baku-Siyazan road, it can be said that these wastes affect an area up to 100 meters from the road.
As a result of the studies, it was found that the emissions and noise generated in the study area are not excessive. To eliminate some of these shortcomings, it is advisable to green these areas and conduct regular monitoring.
