Article by Jeyhun Gasimov, researcher at the Department of Geomorphology and Natural Risks, Institute of Geography named after Academician G.A. Aliyev of ANAS, was published in the journal "Acta Geodynamica et Geomaterialia" under the title "Determination of the dynamics of the Caspian Sea shores depending on changes in its level according to remote sensing data (for example, the geomorphological region of Kur)".

Based on the processing of satellite images, the article analyzes the processes (abrasion and accumulation) that took place in the Caspian Sea, on the geomorphological coast of the Kura in different years (1976-2019) as a result of level fluctuations. The forecast of coastal development for the next 10 and 20 years is calculated.
