A year has passed since the death of corresponding member of ANAS Elbrus Alizade, scientist –geographer of the Institute of Geography named after acad. Hasan Aliyev, who made much for the development of landscape studies in Azerbaijan.

In this regard, the staff of the Institute of Geography, headed by its director, academician Ramiz Mamedov, gathered around his grave, laid flowers and a wreath at her and honored his memory.

Prayers were pronounced.
