A group of employees of the Institute of Geography will take part in the International “Caucasus Mountains Forum 2019” at the University of Ankara in Turkey. 

The presentation of 10 IG scientists at the Forum is planned from October 30 to November 1.

The purpose of the second forum is the adoption of the “Diary of Caucasus Studies”, the exchange of experience, research in the field of sustainable development of mountains, the strengthening of ties between politics and practice, the demonstration of new scientific information, and the support of the excange of knowledge in the framework of regional and international cooperation for the development of mountain regions.

The forum will be attended by representatives of scentific or academic institutions of the Caucasus region, experts from government agences, international experts and others.
