Deputy Director for Science Institute of Geography, associate professor Maharram Hasanov, 5-8 of June participated in the work of the 23rd Session of the International Scientific Workshop and of the Joint Scientific Council on fundamental geographical problems under the International association of Scientific Academies.

50 geographers from 7 countries took part in the event “Ecogejgraphical problems of transition to a green economy in the region and CIS countries, which took place in Grodno, Belarus. 

Hasanov made a presentation, jointly prepared with acad. Ramiz Mammadov, on the “Climatic resources of Azerbaijan and the possibilities of their use for a green economy”, during the round table “Organizing Green infrastructure and Developing Ecosystem Services as the Basis for the Transition to a Green Economy”.
