The textbook on applied hydrometeorology has been published, written by Doctor of Geographical Sciences Said Safarov, Head of the Department of Hydrometeorology of the Caspian Sea at the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of the MSEAR.

The book examines the impact of meteorological and climatic conditions on human practical activities, methods of using climatic and current hydrometeorological data in agriculture, mechanical engineering, construction, transport, aviation, healthcare, as well as other operational issues of human life. The book also outlines methods for developing scientifically based recommendations for construction and medical institutions based on the analysis of meteorological observation data.

The textbook is intended for undergraduate and graduate students at Baku State University, the National Aviation Academy, and other higher education institutions in the relevant field.
