The Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of the MSEAR and the Azerbaijan Geographical Society organized the International Scientific Conference "The Impact of Modern Climate Change on Natural Complexes and Economic Systems of Azerbaijan" in connection with the announcement of 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World" in the Republic of Azerbaijan. A collection of articles from the practical conference has been published.

The editor-in-chief of the collection is the general director of the institute, professor Zakir Eminov, the editor is the executive director, doctor of sciences, associate professor Zaur Imrani.

The collection contains scientific articles on climate change, its impact on the environment, economic systems, human health and other factors, as well as studies covering various areas of geography.
