An employee of the Department of International and Public Relations of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of the MSE AR, Wikipedia Patrol Aida Aslanova, represented the Azerbaijani-language Wikipedia at "Wikimedia Hackathon - 2024", the international conference, held in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. 

The event, which brings together the technical community to create innovative and technical projects, aims to unify people with experience in the technical aspects of Wikimedia projects, as well as improving the technology infrastructure and software supporting Wikimedia projects to share knowledge.

The event brought together 120 Wikipedians from around the world.
