A workshop on the topic “Compliance with safety rules by civil defense forces during emergencies” (following the results of the disaster at Crocus City Hall) was held at the Institute of Geography acad. H. Aliyev in accordance with the civil defense action plan.

The head of Civil Defense of the Institute, Namazali Mustafayev, opened the event with an introductory speech and introduced the participants to the issues on the agenda. He then informed about the civil defense exercises organized by the Institute of Geography in 2024 to prepare for the “World Civil Defense Day”, the civil defense leadership exercises and the exercises for the prevention and assembly of the Civil Defense Forces, as well as current shortcomings.
