May 15-16, Leading Researcher of the Institute of Geography, Ph.D. Rovshan Kerimov took part in the European Climate Conference, organized in Warsaw jointly by the Polish Academy of Sciences and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.
About 90 scientists and researchers from 45 countries of Europe and Central Asia were invited to the scientific event; a round table was organized, consisting of 7 sessions. R. Karimov made a presentation on the society's response to the climate session and answered questions. The guests held meetings and took part in social programs at the German Embassy in Poland. At the end of the event, the Warsaw Communiqué on Climate Change was adopted.
