The thesis of Sevil Guliyeva "Modern natural and landscape geocomplexes of Azerbaijan and their landscape-ecological assessment" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of physical geography and biogeography, soil geography, landscape geophysics and geochemistry  was discussed at the Scientific Seminar of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H.Aliyev.

The scientific work of S. Guliyeva was transferred to the next stage of defense by the decision of the DC.
