May 15-17, the president of the Azerbaijan Geographic Society, academician Ramiz Mammadov, was on a working visit to Rome, capital of Italy, to participate in the 150^th anniversary of the Italian Geographic Society on the theme “Geographic Society in new research system”. In the event with the participation of President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, academician Ramiz Mammadov presented a report on the theme “Geography of Azerbaijan and activities of the Azerbaijan Geographic Society.
