Institute of Geography named after Acad. H.A. Aliyev of ANAS and the Gabala State Historical and Artistic Reserve jointly organized a mobile event at the Gabala Archaeological Center in connection with the Memorial Day of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Opening the event, Director General of the Institute, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Zakir Eminov spoke about the contribution of Heydar Aliyev to the development of Azerbaijani science. He noted that the outstanding statesman paid special attention to issues of science and education, took serious measures to solve problems in this area, signed important historical decrees and orders.

Director of the Gabala State Historical and Artistic Reserve Zahir Karimov said in his speech that Heydar Aliyev considered it important for the citizens of the country to master science, and therefore in all his speeches he paid special attention to these issues.
