The institute staff headed by the general director Zakir Eminov, visited the grave of Elkhan Mammadbekov, a former leading researcher at the Institute of Geography, Doctor of Philosophy in Geography. Colleagues marked forty days since his death, laid flowers at the monument and prayed for his soul.
