The textbook reveals the methodological foundations of medical geography, the study of scientific sources on human biometeorology and the training of nosogeographers, as well as its relevance from the point of view of modern requirements.
The book consists of 11 chapters and covers topics such as general information about the science of medical geography, its subject, methodology, research methods, biorhythmic training, the influence of the biogeographic environment on the human body, sources of medical and meteorological information, the influence of synoptic meteorological conditions on human health, the science of nosogeography, geographical foci of diseases, etc.
During the analysis, scientific works of researchers from Azerbaijan and foreign countries who had special merits in the development of the science of medical geography were used.
