The monograph, consisting of 4 chapters, studied the negative impact of extreme heat on the health of the urban population associated with modern climate change, as well as climatic factors affecting the malaria epidemic in Azerbaijan in a hot climate. The strong heat and hot air waves on the Absheron Peninsula, their impact on the health of the urban population and the increase in mortality were studied, the influence of malaria conditions and modern climate changes on the malaria season in the country was studied, preventive measures were developed and carried out to reduce and mitigate the expected risks associated with the change climate.

The book, which can help in the formation of a new direction in the field of biometeorology, will be useful to researchers, teachers and students interested in this subject, as well as specialists from specialized organizations.
