We would like to inform you that EAGE LC Azerbaijan in cooperation with Azerbaijan Society of Petroleum Geologists (ASPG) under SPE operating is planning a 3-day International Conference on 1-3 November 2017 at the Fairmont Baku. The subject of the conference is “The Caspian Region: Peculiarities of the geology (the offshore and adjacent oil and gas areas)”, and will cover the following themes:

1. The new results of regional studies of the Caspian area based on the latest geophysical data
2. Sedimentary basin analysis and modeling
3. Geochemical survey results and oil-gas prediction
4. Specific thermal and pressure regimes in the basins
5. Source rock interval justification
6. Results of paleogeological studies
7. Areal and vertical changes of the reservoir characteristics
8. Petroleum evaluation of the basins
9. Oligocene-Miocene Unit: structural features; forming the reservoir and traps; geochemistry of rocks and fluids; potential reserves
