Deputy director for science of the Institute of Geography, associate professor Maharram Hasanov took part in a virtual meeting held within the framework of the project "Expansion of early warning services about dangerous hydrometeorological processes in Azerbaijan as a result of climate change."

The coordination of activities should be reflected in a project document prepared by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) for submission to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) with the participation of relevant government agencies, ministries and organizations. A discussion of opportunities for cooperation with stakeholders was held.
