December 17 employees of the Institute of Geography, Senior researcher, PhD Sima Aliyeva, researchers Jamila Akhmedova and Farida Talybova were at a workshop held within the framework of the “EU4Climate” project on the theme “Development of a long-term strategic plan for the development of low emissions and analysis of the current situation”|.

The event, organized with the support of the UN Development Program in Azerbaijan, was attended by representatives from the Ministries of Economy, Agriculture, Energy, Finance and ANAS.

The aim of the workshop was to familiarize participants with international experience and approaches in development a long-term strategic plan for low emissions.
