On September 16, 2026, an extended preliminary discussion was held at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the dissertation prepared by Dilbar Mammadova, a doctoral student at the Institute, on the topic “Geographical Problems of the Territorial Organization of Agriculture in the Gazakh–Tovuz Economic Region.”

During the discussion, the main findings of the scientific research conducted by the doctoral student were presented. A broad exchange of views was held on the relevance, scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the dissertation.

During the scientific discussion, participants expressed their opinions and suggestions regarding the dissertation, and the questions addressed to the author were answered in detail.

At the conclusion of the discussion, it was noted that the research met the required scientific standards. It was considered appropriate to submit Dilbar Mammadova’s dissertation on “Geographical Problems of the Territorial Organization of Agriculture in the Gazakh–Tovuz Economic Region” for the next stage.
