On 10 September 2026, in accordance with the “Admission Plan for Doctoral Training at Higher Education Institutions and Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026”, approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 14 May 2026, specialty entrance examinations were held at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for applicants who had successfully passed the foreign language and philosophy examinations.

A total of six applicants participated in the examinations across five specialties. The applicants' knowledge in their respective specialties was assessed and graded by the examination committee in accordance with the established evaluation criteria.

The examination results have been submitted to the Academic Council of the Institute for approval.
