The Clarivate Certification Program on Scientometrics, jointly organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Clarivate, was held from 20 to 24 July 2026 at the Clarivate office in Belgrade, Serbia.

Turana Huseynova, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Tourism and Recreation Geography of the Institute of Geography under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the international Certification Program on Scientometrics held in Belgrade.

The five-day program aimed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of international approaches to research evaluation, enhance practical skills in using Clarivate platforms, strengthen competencies in applying bibliometric indicators, improve the quality of scientific publications, and promote the effective use of modern scientific information resources by researchers.

The training program included theoretical lectures, hands-on practical sessions, case-based applications, and a final assessment. Participants who successfully completed all stages of the program were awarded an international certificate.
