Preliminary Discussions of Two Dissertation Works Held at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan 2026-07-16 10:29:00 / SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLIES

On 16 July 2026, preliminary discussions of two dissertation works were held at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the discussions, doctoral candidates Sevda Mirzayeva and Naila Dunyamaliyeva presented their research entitled "Comparative Study of the Anthropogenic Impact on the Physical Properties of Agricultural Soils" and "Study of the Agrophysical Properties of Soils Depending on Ownership Forms in the Shirvan-Salyan Economic Region," respectively.During both discussions, the candidates presented the main findings of their scientific research and provided comprehensive information on the relevance, scientific novelty, theoretical significance, and practical value of their dissertation studies. The participating scholars and experts exchanged views on the presented topics and shared their opinions and recommendations regarding the research.

Within the framework of the discussions, the candidates answered questions raised by the participants. The speakers emphasized that both dissertation studies address important and current issues in the field of soil science and are expected to make a significant contribution to their solution.

At the conclusion of the discussions, it was considered appropriate to recommend the dissertation works of Sevda Mirzayeva, entitled "Comparative Study of the Anthropogenic Impact on the Physical Properties of Agricultural Soils," and Naila Dunyamaliyeva, entitled "Study of the Agrophysical Properties of Soils Depending on Ownership Forms in the Shirvan-Salyan Economic Region," for the next stage of the dissertation evaluation process.
