On June 18, 2026, a preliminary discussion of the dissertation prepared by Nurana Yuzbashova, junior researcher at the Laboratory of Soil Genesis and Geography of the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held. The dissertation is entitled “Investigation of the Effects of Slopes with Different Aspects on the Properties of Mountain Gray-Brown Soils in the Northeastern Part of the Lesser Caucasus and Their Digital Mapping.”

During the seminar, the applicant presented the objectives, methodology, and main findings of the research. Participants exchanged views on the relevance of the dissertation topic, its scientific novelty, and its theoretical and practical significance.
