On June 12, the staff of the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Alley of Honor on the occasion of June 15 – National Salvation Day and paid tribute to the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.

   During the visit, the institute's employees laid flowers at the grave of the Great Leader and expressed their deep respect and reverence for his memory. At the Alley of Honor, participants commemorated with profound gratitude Heydar Aliyev’s exceptional services in strengthening Azerbaijan’s independence, building state institutions, and ensuring the country's comprehensive development.

   It was noted that the political course established by Heydar Aliyev forms the foundation of Azerbaijan’s progress and statehood traditions, while National Salvation Day has gone down in history as a crucial turning point in the destiny of the Azerbaijani people.
