A scientist of the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan delivered a master class at Baku State University’s Summer School 2026-05-15 14:20:00 / IMPORTANT EVENTS

On 14 May 2026, the head of the “Caspian Sea Geography” laboratory at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Said Safarov, delivered a master class for students of the Faculty of Geography at Baku State University.

The lecture was held within the framework of “Baku Urban Week”, organized ahead of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will take place in Baku. The session was part of a Summer School program titled “Formation of Human Capital for Sustainable and Resilient Urban Development.”

The topic of the lecture was: “Changes in the wind regime of the Caspian Sea and their possible impacts on sea level and urban development dynamics in the Absheron Peninsula.”

After the lecture, Said Safarov answered questions from both lecturers and students.
