As part of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture,” an event titled “The Legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev: The Architect of Independent Azerbaijan and the Author of National Revival” was held jointly by the Yasamal District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the Yasamal District Executive Authority on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The event was attended by state and government officials, members of parliament, heads of scientific and educational institutions, representatives of law enforcement agencies, members of the district community, and active young people. Mahbuba Fatullayeva, Deputy Chairperson of the YAP primary territorial party organization of the AR MSIT Geography Institute, also represented the institute at the event.

First, the participants laid flowers in front of the bust of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the administrative building of the YAP Yasamal District Organization and honored his cherished memory with deep respect. Later, during the event held at the organization, a one-minute silence was observed in memory of the National Leader, as well as the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, followed by the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As part of the event, a video presentation reflecting the rich and multifaceted life path, statesmanship, and unparalleled services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the Azerbaijani people was shown.
