The newspaper "Azerbaijan" published a detailed interview with PhD in geography, Associate Professor Mirnukh Ismayilov, Head of the Landscape Science and Landscape Planning Department at the Institute of Geography named after H. Aliyev MSE, about the environmental situation in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.

The interview provides information on the environmental situation in the liberated areas, which arose as a result of the plundering of underground and surface resources, water pollution, damage to flora and fauna, and the destruction of forests.
