The book “Dynamic soil processes in crop rotation system” has been published 2025-07-07 15:39:00 / NEW PUBLICATIONS

A new publication has been published by the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of the MSEAR entitled “Dynamic soil processes in crop rotation system (using the example of Mugan Plain of the Republic of Azerbaijan)”.

The authors of the monograph, published in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation, by decision of the academic councils of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Siberian Branch of the RAS and the Institute of Geography, are the head of the IG department, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Chingiz Gyulaliev and Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences Samandar Kocharli.

The monograph presents the results of many years of research on the development of scientific foundations for the efficient use of soil resources in the arid regions of Azerbaijan. The book examines modern approaches and methods for assessing the dynamics of soil processes, the state of electrophysical, water-physical and agrophysical properties of soils in various crop rotations.

The results of studies on determining the state of chemical and physical properties of soils, the dynamics of soil processes, water-thermal balance, as well as an assessment of the agro-industrial grouping of soils according to agrophysical properties are presented.

The book can be a useful guide for students studying at universities in the field of "Soil Science", doctoral students of research institutes, as well as for soil scientists, ecologists working in the field of nature management in arid zones (farmers, nature users, etc.) and other specialists.
