Azerbaijan was elected as a member of the UN Tourism Executive Council for 2025-2029 with a 26-vote advantage. Z.Imrani gave extensive information about the state programs adopted by Azerbaijan in the field of tourism, the work done and the successes achieved, summer tourism, the research and events carried out in this area, the development of tourism in the regions, types of tourism, pricing policy, and satisfaction with tourism. He compared Azerbaijani tourism with Georgian and Turkish tourism. He also spoke about the participation of scientists in the recently held event in connection with the naming of the city of Lachin as the "Cultural Capital of the CIS in 2025".
