In an interview with AZERTAC, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Zaur Imrani, Acting Director General of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of the MSEAR, gave extensive information about the comprehensive research that will be carried out at the Institute of Geography as a result of the joint activities of scientific staff.
The head of the institute noted that the unification of research institutions close to each other in research areas will help in conducting comprehensive research. The biggest advantage of optimization will be the attraction of new personnel to research work. Research will be conducted in different directions, which will correspond to state policy. Z.Imrani spoke about the modern trends in the development of geography and the importance of the scientific research, as well as about the research conducted at the Institute of Geography in recent years in various areas of science, especially in relation to our territories liberated from occupation. He also provided extensive information on the participation of the institute's employees in international grant projects, the publication of articles, books and monographs in important scientific journals, the preparation of atlases and maps.
