The report of the head of the department of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev, MSEAR, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor Amir Aliyev at the meeting of the Presidium of ANAS on the topic "Change in the level of the Caspian Sea in the modern period: causes and results" was published in the journal "Reports" of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) (1-2 2024).

The article discusses the latest changes in the level of the Caspian Sea, their causes, as well as the impact of this process on the coastal areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
