The dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Geographical Sciences in the specialty 540301 - "Population Geography"  was defended by Beyimkhanim Huseynova on the topic "Study of ethnodemographic processes in the Sheki-Zagatala economic region" at the meeting of the one-time dissertation council BFD 3.14, operating at the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of the MSEAR.

A decision was made by secret ballot to petition the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to award B. Huseynov the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Geography.
